This forum is primarily for the discussion of developing monetary systems like Digital Coin, but also existing alternative and mainstream monetary systems past & present. It should be used thoughtfully to both present and study such systems in an open, objective, and active manner. Please leave your politics at the door. Those coming to grandstand or otherwise play politics, will be removed. Stick to the facts and reference all that you are able.

Hello All,

I have created a hybrid mixing something like barter, craigslist and digital gold currency (DGC) trading system.

www.giro.ws

We are geared towards individuals and small traders.  Basic members can post FREE ads, search, message, check references, use mobile app and make/receive value-backed silver payments to each other via the system proprietary trading unit Smilie Digital Dollar(tm) or SD$.  Associates (SA) receive additional BONUS credits when purchasing SD$ of up to 20%, plus commission for new referrals and additional benefits.

Merchants may post FREE ads and accept whatever they like as payment.  They are not required to accept SD$ to use the system.  The maximum discount a customer would ever get using SD$ and purchasing from you as a merchant would be up to 20%.  This rate fluctuates based on silver prices, only applies to SA and does not interfere with an immediate at-the-time purchase, at the system 1:1 voluntary trading rate with the US Dollar (negotiable).  We would like you to use SD$ all of the time, but using just once for new customer acquisition or to move non-performing stock would be a win-win for all involved!

Let me know what you think.
